About Sun Coast Solar
Solar is a big spend that gets sold hard. Our job is the opposite: explain the options honestly, size systems to how you actually live, and stay useful after the install.
What we believe about buying solar
Quality components genuinely matter here. Independent testing consistently shows that well-made panels and inverters, installed properly, deliver more of what the brochure promised for more years. A cheap system that degrades early costs more than a good one: that arithmetic drives every recommendation we make.
The same honesty applies to money. Solar pricing depends on your roof, your tariff and current government incentives, all three of which vary. So we quote against your actual place instead of publishing numbers that would mislead half the people reading them. Government incentive schemes are described at energy.gov.au; installation work is done by accredited installers, which is what the federal incentive scheme requires.
Two products, one honest question
We work across both kinds of solar: PV for electricity and solar hot water for heat. Because we handle both, the first question in a quote is not "how many panels" but "which bill are you trying to kill". Sometimes the answer is both; sometimes the honest answer is that one of them does not stack up for your place, and we will say so.
After the install
Panels get dirty, inverters age, and output drops quietly. We service, clean and repair systems, including ones we did not install. If your system has never been checked, our underperformance guide is the place to start.
