PowerRouter Solar Inverter (Available in 3, 3.7 and 5kW versions)

The PowerRouter solar inverter is the perfect solution for all your grid feed-in and self power use requirements. This compact, all in one system efficiently converts DC into usable AC power and its integrated, web-based logging features allow you to remotely monitor your power generation. A unique feature of the PowerRouter Solar inverter is its ability to provide back up power in the event of a power failure. Unlike other inverters, the PowerRouter switches to “island mode” when the grid fails providing stable AC power to your connected loads. This backup works as long as there is sufficient solar power from your panels.

For backup power at night the PowerRouter can easily be expanded to include batteries for storing solar energy.

PowerRouter Solar Battery (Available in 3, 3.7 and 5kW versions)

The PowerRouter solar battery unit is designed to make you energy self sufficient, this compact unit provides a stable power supply in areas where the power grid is unavailable or unreliable. If you are currently connected to the grid but would like to be self sufficient you can install a Power Router solar battery system and a suitably sized battery bank. This will provide you with 24 hour self-generated power however in times of heavy power usage or during extended periods of overcast or rainy weather you can still draw power from the grid when required. Conversely during days with high solar radiation you can also export power back to the grid and be paid for that exported power.

Generators and wind turbines can also be connected to the PowerRouter Solar Battery system providing supplemental power for off-grid applications.
