In recent days the Australian dollar has fallen from around 93 cents US to 83.3 cents US today. Should this trend continue it will have a considerable effect on the price of solar power systems. Most, if not all parts, of a solar system are imported or contain imported components therefore a lower Australian dollar will make these items more expensive and this will result in higher prices for panels and inverters.
